O Highlight in Trin

The WOC 03 middle distance terrain is in my opinion one of the most amazing terrains existing both for the eye as also techically seen. Since Simone´s and Thierry´s victories in this forest I have been training there 2 times there. And now 3 years later, the final of the Swiss Biofarm Cup was held there this sunday.

The total victory was unfortunately no longer reachable, but still there was some fighting going on for places 6 to 10 where I was a part of. Starting with a very good feeling and top motivation, I could not manage to run "clean": stupid mistakes happening every few controls detained me to reach a top result of which I was dreaming...
Finally a mistake at the 2nd last control kicked me out of the Top 10.

But there were also many positive points which I can take with me to the last big goal of this season: the Blodslitet in Norway, an ultralongdistance competition. I am going there tomorrow with a B-selection of the Swiss Team to train some days before the competition...
